Klaytn(KLAY)

Klaytn is a public blockchain platform developed by the South Korean technology giant Kakao. It is designed to provide users with a service-centric platform that enables developers to create large-scale decentralized applications (DApps). Klaytn is designed to provide a secure, efficient, and user-friendly environment for DApp development and execution.

Klaytn is based on the technology of the Ethereum blockchain, but it has improved the scalability, transaction speed and costs, and user-friendliness of the platform. It is a permissioned blockchain, meaning that it is operated by a limited number of validators and users need to be authorized in order to participate. However, it is still an open platform, and anyone can join the network and develop applications on the platform.

Klaytn is powered by the Klaytn Governance Council, a consortium of companies and organizations that oversee the development and operation of the platform. The governance council consists of two layers: the Platform Operators and the Validators. The Platform Operators are responsible for the development and operation of the platform, while the Validators are responsible for verifying and confirming transactions on the platform.
