Tezos(XTZ)

Tezos is a blockchain-based, open-source platform designed to facilitate the secure, decentralized, and self-amending transfer of digital assets between users. With its unique approach to consensus and governance, Tezos allows users to securely transfer and store digital assets while still being able to interact with the network without fear of censorship or control by a central authority.

At its core, Tezos is a distributed ledger technology that uses a unique consensus algorithm known as Liquid Proof-of-Stake (LPoS). This algorithm is designed to be more efficient and secure than traditional consensus mechanisms, such as Proof-of-Work (PoW). In a PoW system, miners expend computational resources to solve cryptographic puzzles in order to produce new blocks and receive rewards for doing so. In contrast, Tezos’s Liquid Proof-of-Stake system allows users to stake their tokens in order to become a validator for the network. This process is more energy efficient and does not require large amounts of computational power.
