Description

Token creation and minting have become quite the activity for blockchain developers in the making. While token tutorials on Polygon, Ethereum, and Flow might be commonplace, it’s time you learned to write one in Solidity on the Avalanche Network too. The blockchain has a daily cap of 80,000 users and has secured a position in the web3 realm as an innovative platform. Start building today.

Frequently asked questions

Avalanche is not an ERC-20 token but as a smart contracts-building blockchain which is used to create ERC-20 tokens and the likes.

To create a custom ERC20 token, you will need to first create a new project for your preferred programming language. Let’s take Solidity, for example. You’ll then have to write the code for your ERC-20 token and compile it. Once the coding part is done, you would need to deploy the token. After deployment, you may test your custom ERC-20 token.

Avalanche is compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) so it supports the Solidity programming language.

Avalanche is itself a decentralized, open source proof-of-stake blockchain and its native token is AVAX. As a blockchain, Avalanche is efficient, and has good throughput and speed.
